Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, the veteran Ghanaian songstress popularly known as Mzbel, has once again set the internet ablaze.
In a recent interview that began trending on December 6, 2025, the “16 Years” hitmaker offered some unconventional advice to married women: let your husbands roam.
Known for never shying away from controversial topics, Mzbel challenged the societal and religious norms surrounding infidelity, arguing that men should not be condemned for seeking pleasure outside of wedlock.
“Cheating is Not a Sin”
In the viral video clips, Mzbel questioned the origins of the morality surrounding adultery. She argued that the happiness of a man should be a wife’s priority, even if that happiness is found in the arms of another woman.
“I don’t know who brought the idea that if you have sex with another woman while in a relationship, it is a sin,” Mzbel stated. “Every man gets happy after having sex outside marriage.”
She went a step further, advising wives to accept this as a natural reality rather than a deal-breaker.
“So, as a wife, you want your husband to be happy and feel good, I don’t see any problem with a man having multiple partners,” she added.
Defending Highlife Legend, Daddy Lumba
The conversation didn’t stop at general advice. Mzbel also waded into the recent discourse regarding the personal life of the late Highlife legend, Daddy Lumba.
Following recent public scrutiny regarding the late singer’s polygamous lifestyle, Mzbel jumped to his defense. She expressed confusion over the criticism, suggesting that a man’s ability to care for a large family should be celebrated rather than judged.
“I don’t understand why they are making it a big deal. It is a nice thing for him to have children with multiple women,” she remarked.
Social Media Reacts
As expected, Mzbel’s comments have triggered a massive debate across Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and TikTok.
While a minority of netizens agree with her take on polygamy, many have criticized her for seemingly endorsing infidelity and undermining the sanctity of Christian and monogamous marriages.
