For four years now, Feli Praiz has been singing about God. She has one song out — “Wait” — and one project to her name. By industry standards, that might look small. But talk to her, and you will hear something bigger: a woman who believes her breakthrough is still coming, and who is not in a hurry to force it.

Feli Praiz calls herself “The Voice of Grace and Power.” It is a simple name, but it says a lot about what she wants her music to do — to carry grace to people who need it, and to carry power that can only come from God’s presence. The Hard Road for Gospel Musicians in Ghana

Ask her about the biggest challenge, and she will tell you straight: Ghana’s music industry does not have enough structure to support new artists, especially gospel musicians. Marketing and promoting your brand as a gospel act, she says, is one of the toughest parts of the journey. There is no clear system that picks up new gospel voices and pushes them into the spotlight the way it happens for other genres. For someone like Feli Praiz, that means grinding it out largely on her own.

Looking Up to the Greats

Despite the struggles, she has not lost sight of who she wants to become. She looks up to some of the biggest names in gospel music across Africa — Ghana’s own Diana Hamilton, and Nigerian gospel giants Mercy Chinwo, Ada Ehi, and Sinach. These are women who have turned worship into a global movement, and Feli Praiz believes she can walk a similar path. She is also open to working with any spirit-filled gospel artist, new or old, as long as they share her passion for winning souls through music.

“Wait” — A Song That Is Touching Lives

Her current single, “Wait,” seems to be doing exactly what she hoped it would do. Fans have been sending in testimonies about how the song has touched their lives, and for Feli Praiz, that means more than any chart position. It has left her even more grateful to God for the gift of music He has given her.

A Five-Year Vision

When she thinks about the next five years, her answer is simple — more gospel music. She wants to keep using her voice as a tool to spread God’s word, win souls, and impact lives, not just in Ghana or Africa, but around the world. Tough Industry, Bold Belief

Feli Praiz describes the Ghanaian and African gospel music space as both interesting and tough — a place full of opportunity, but also full of obstacles. Yet she believes she has what it takes to leave her own mark, just like the artists she admires.
