Jamaican sprint icon Usain Bolt has taken his relationship with partner Kasi Bennett to the next level, popping the question during his star-studded 40th birthday party.
The eight-time Olympic gold medallist, who turned 40 on Friday, August 21, surprised Bennett with the proposal at the One Belmont venue in Kingston, Jamaica, in front of family and friends who had gathered to celebrate his milestone birthday.

According to reports from the Jamaica Observer and other outlets, Bolt appeared on stage in a beige checkered suit, took the microphone, and got down on one knee before Bennett, who was dressed in a gold sequined gown. He then presented her with a five-carat diamond engagement ring.
Guests at the event reportedly erupted in cheers as the moment unfolded, with Bennett visibly overwhelmed by the surprise. She later shared glimpses of the emotional night on her Instagram Stories, including a shot of her stunned reaction captioned about summing up her night, alongside teary-eyed photos and a clip of her showing off the new ring.
A Decade-Long Love Story
Bolt and Bennett have been together since 2013, and their relationship became public knowledge around the 2016 Rio Olympics. The couple share three children — daughter Olympia Lightning and twin sons Thunder and Saint Leo.
Interestingly, Bennett had reportedly spent months helping plan Bolt’s birthday celebration, completely unaware that he — along with close friends and family — was secretly organising a proposal of his own.
