The marriage between Delta North Senator Ned Nwoko and Nollywood star Regina Daniels has imploded in a dramatic public war of words on social media, with explosive allegations ranging from drug abuse and family harassment to sexual assault and confinement.
The feud, which follows weeks of domestic violence reports and the arrest of Regina’s brother, Sammy, hit a fever pitch this weekend with both parties detailing their painful marital crisis.
Nwoko’s Allegations: Drugs and Disruption
Taking to his X handle, Senator Nwoko pointed the finger at Regina’s brother, Sammy, accusing him of repeated harassment of his children and staff. He claimed to have personally sponsored Sammy’s university education and even transferred an estimated N 125 million to Regina’s mother over two years.
Nwoko made the startling allegation that Sammy and another individual introduced Regina to drugs and then sabotaged her rehabilitation. “Lawrence and Sammy were the ones who first introduced and supplied these drugs to her,” Nwoko wrote, claiming they defied medical instructions to keep her away from “enablers” during her recovery.
The Senator recounted a harrowing confrontation just four weeks ago where he allegedly had to physically remove Sammy from his compound at 4 a.m. after an argument about Regina being high. Nwoko stated that his decision to involve law enforcement was because Sammy “now needs professional rehabilitation and guidance.”
Regina Fires Back: Allegations of Control and Abuse
Regina Daniels immediately countered the drug claims, admitting, “Fine, I did drugs. So what?” but insisted it was a distraction from the real issue.
She made severe counter-allegations, accusing Nwoko of deliberately isolating her and even encouraging her drug use.
In a shocking claim, the actress alleged, “You say you want me to go for rehab, but you are the same Ned who always wanted me high because, in your words, I’m ‘sexier’ when I’m high.”
